KAISA, ANDY and SEIGER are road-tripping across the globe to attend Sky and Sea International - sharing transportation for the sake of convenience. Poor Kaisa probably didn't get a moment of peace and quiet travelling with two such chatterboxes

When Kaisa in her usual stubborn tone had insisted that she was able to - and intended to- do the vet check in a summer dress and heels, none had dared to oppose her. Often, a certain level of class was expected during the trot-ups - that Seiger by contrast had chosen to don a vastly more informal style of a Peach Print shirt was perhaps even less surprising than Kaisa's choice of wear.

But when Kaisa during the same trot-up she had insisted she could pull off in heels chose to trip and face plant into the footing, no-one laughed. It could have been funny, were it not for the fact that a pained draw settled on her forehead as she gathered herself up from the dust. While her pride had no doubt taken the biggest blow, she seemed hurt beyond that.
,,You okay?" asked Seiger, perhaps unnecessarily as Kaisa immediately handed over the reins of Crime to him.
,,My wrist kinda hurts," she mused, rubbing at it with an almost scientific interest. She had landed right on it in an attempt to stifle the blow. While she could move the wrist it stung, annoyingly so, and that worried her. She didn't have time for this.
,,Go put something cold on it," suggested Seiger. ,,I'll take it from here,"
,,You sure?" asked Kaisa, her gaze bouncing between the two horses he was now in charge of.
,,Improvise, adapt, income," he responded.
,,I believe the phrase is 'overcome' --.."
,,Not in my line of work." he flashed her a grin, standing to slapdash attention. ,,I got this. Run along now."
Well.. it was his horses, after all - so Kaisa did. Off to find Andy. How lucky to be travelling with a medical professional - a vet, granted, but no doubt Andy would take the best care of her.
