Description
The papercraft to statue transformation for princess Luna is still a thing I do.Just doing a little more each time.
There is not that much more to cover on her until I have to smooth the whole model, that will be fun

Do you plan on filling it with rondo or expanding foam and sand the outside?

I am not sure what rondo is, but I don´t need expanding foam.
The white stuff you see on the picture in no plaster, it a a cement/polymer mix that gets hard as stone with I put on the model in connetion with glass fiber mats.
I will sand/ break of huge bumps and then put another thin layer of this material on it and smootening it by hand.
After this I will use acylic paint to give it the colors back and finish it with some varnish.

Rondo is basically a slurry mix of resin and bondo glass poured inside a pep and then sloshed around until it's hardened.

Ok, the thing I use is very save and not harmful,
any time I tryed to use something with resin I get headaches.

Tis why I invested in respirator mask.
But your method is much safer.
