Description
I am in the process of attaching Luna to the thick and very heavy board she will be standing on.
I marked the feet on the board and added wood preservation anywhere but that spots.
I screwed in thick screws where her feet will be, applyed epoxy resin and put her on the board... in this process she nearly tipped over and was nearly destroyed... that was scary.
After that epoxy had hardend I drilled a hole in her legs and filled it with more epoxy... and found it leaked out under her feet,
it wasn´t as sealed then I had hoped (lesson for all, use very few epoxid first to see if there are leaks).
again after waiting long enough to fully harden (24 hours) I fill in a (this time smaller amount), again leaking, but much less.
It should be ok now for me to fill in the rest.
After that, I close the drilled holes and paint them over.
Then a varnish will be added as a final layer (I hope non of the colors come off)
