Those kids must really love hungry jacks, they seem to flock outside its doors day after day. It must be the source of their power. Nice shot of an iconic Brisbane scene.

i found it a characteristic of the group... focusing on the clothing, the major unifying thing they have..

90% chance i know those people. :[
emo isn't changing into indie. they're just scenekids. they move with what is popular. at the moment it's hardcore music.

well *i* really will shed a tear. i just want to hug them all! so they're irritating and congregate in the middle of thoroughfares and sneer at you for no apparent reason. so they refuse to admit that they're really emos and will point at someone identically dressed and say "i'm not an emo, THAT'S an emo". so they are ridiculously exclusive and a group of marginalised people who marginalise others.... i still love them.
and gosh, indie kids are going to have to find some new way to distinguish themselves from others. poor things.

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwww...
bern can't see the use of the blad for street.
lame.
the emo progression is rather interesting... so now that emo is transforming into indie.. what are all the indie kids the emo kids made fun of going to do?

better a tail than something more phallic in nature.

always wanted a blad x with the 30 for street work, but only 5.6 on the wide end if memory serves. great angle for this composition though. how did you actually get the image digitally? cause it fills the space of two neg frames right? I guess you need a doubly wide neg carrier to print? No idea how you'd scan it though. Love the tonal range of the clothing, all the shadows and highlights meld together nicely. I wanna see it bigger to catch that awsome delta grain!

45/4 is enough for street, and the 30 is a) hard to come by, and b) more $$$ than the body and the 45/4 combined.
i used my flatbed which also does negs... just manually adjusted the frame.
