I like the intense feeling of the image

Quality photo. I dono if the lady is crossing a road or not, but I think it gives the piece another meaning: If she is crossing the road, then she is not only ignoring the man, she is also ignoring the stop sign on the mag which I get the feeling is almost a sign of fate which she has ignored and that there is no turning back??? Or maybe she’s just a lady in the background and I got a bit deep there. LOL

Anyway great work!!

without the woman in the background, the shot would be incomplete.

nice capture. well done.

(the world press photobook...hmmm, its so predictably political)

cheers mate.

dunno about the politics... I've seen past volumes and the images speak. they speak about people and not politics to me.

a good finish for your little series, the shallow depth of field works so well here, and the magazine with the big Stop on it gives a great eye catched, and degrades the two persons to underparts.
good work
Daniel

I think that the woman (or man??) in the background gives the capture more emotion, a guy is sellling magazines for the homeless and she walks right on by

oh my gosh its the big issue! i love that magazine... soooooo many memories.

its quite a good shot but i dont like the person in the background they are in the way. it annoys me so.

other than that this is very good. and evoked memories ... i just used the word evoked in a sentence *slams head on desk* english exam is OVER lizzy

Yeah, thats street photography for you. It has an unpolished quality to it which is part of the charm, because that was the moment.

How did it go? Obviously didn't die... thats good.

Love you.

die? pfft if anything i killed the exam not the other way around... you see i wrote most of it in the last half hour and my speedy speedy writing caused such friction that the paper erupted into flames.

NO MORE ENGLISH EXAMS EVER EVER EVER
