This was really eye catching, and is a beautifully composed image. I love how well centered the characters are, and well balanced everything is – with the way the black wings block out the left white wing, it keeps the image symmetrical, but we see just enough of the white wing to know it’s there. I think if we saw any more of it, then the image might come across as being too busy and off-kilter. So that was a great call on your part.
I love the physical interaction between the two women – there really is a sense that they’re close and pressing against one another. I am curious about the black-haired woman’s right hand, though – because we see so little of it and because we don’t see the other hand at all, I wasn’t sure at first whether she was wearing gloves or just had a different skin tone there for one reason or other. I’m guessing it’s a glove, but future compositions might benefit from avoiding positions where the viewer can’t be absolutely sure.
The sense of the wind and movement here is spot-on, and I like how you let that reveal a bit of the blonde angel’s sex appeal without being blatant about it. And I absolutely love her hair and its style (the black-haired angel’s was a good choice, too, since if it were shorter it’d probably be blowing in the blonde’s face).
The wings just look so perfect for both of them, and I love the inclusion of the birds on either side to fill things out. The clouds and gradient of the sky, too, in that they fill the bottom half with detail but then let the women take the spotlight toward the top, with their forms really standing out against the dark blue of the sky. Great decisions, there.

Oh! Now I see what you mean about their skin and the globes -- I thought the skin effects were mystical tattoos (especially the black-haired angel's thigh), and I thought the globes were being held by birds because the base of the black pair of wings kind of looked like a lowered crow's head to me.
I think you made the right call about the maturity level -- not that there's anything wrong with nudity, but it could have distracted from the piece as a whole. 
What I saw in this -- whether you're portraying a friendship or a relationship -- is that either of those things can break past barriers put up by society. I just assumed each of these women was from a different faction who weren't supposed to associate with one another, but they have a bond that can't be ignored, even if it's to one another's detriment. Is that off from what you intended?
