Description My second VS for Windows 7: Noir


Credit:
- for base theme.
- for rainmeter.
-Kishan-Bagaria for tools.

The .rar pack includes:
Theme, with 3 font style: Calibri, Calibri Caps and SegoeUI
Rainmeter
Top-taskbar orb
BMP files for x86 (maybe x64 also) users



Copy to C:/Windows/Resources/Theme to install theme
Tools to install theme can be found at:[link]
Highly recommend using MacType for the best themeing experience :[link]
To make the start menu look like in preview, untick "use large icon" in "taskbar properties"

Very nice skin, I love it But, two little things, as you can see here : [link] : the active folder on the navigation panel seems to have problems with accents, and the descenders are cropped (see "programmes" on the far right).

1. Maybe the font doesn't support your language, maybe you should try the other versions of my theme

I don't understand any of this.

The instructions in the description wasn't very descriptive since i'm new at installing these themes. Can you explain the instructions to me please?

I copied all the files from the rar to the folder that you have instructed me to, and using the windows installer theme but ended up with an error saying "the system cannot find specified file".

I love this theme. The slick look is exactly what I was looking for. Just 1 little issue. That folderband that appears and disappears on mouse hover always makes my explorer freeze cause it keeps rapidly opening and closing. Would it be possible for you to add a version where that folderband just stays visible? That would be much appreciated . Anyway, awesome VS nonetheless.

Replace "en-US" and "Shell" folder of "Noir" with the "en-US" and "Shell" folders of Aero default theme or any theme that doesn't show folder band and you are done . Remember to switch to another theme before replacing. Good luck.

No, I use Windows 7 Navigation Buttons customizer, cuz changing explorerframe may cause PC to crash . Google it and you'll find out how to do
