Chapter 1

Beginning of the End

Night Surfer flew across Ponyville on his nightly outings clearing the skies and making sure everything was alright and clear on the grounds, there had been some breakins in several stores around Ponyville and they had appointed him as one of the night guards as they could trust him to stay awake.

Smiling contently he landed on a lone cloud and surveyed the ground assured that no one would try anything on his shift; Scanning the area he noticed a shadow quickly dart behind one of the buildings like it was trying to avoid his notice but Night was very observant and this would not happen on his shift.

Quickly flying down he glanced around the building where he had seen the shadow dart off too and was puzzled when he saw nothing, he could of sworn he had seen someone over here.

As he was about to fly off he noticed he had another shadow and realized there was someone behind him and his eyes grew wide as he realized the trouble he was in and he quickly darted around to see who it was when he felt a sharp sting on his shoulder and his eyes rolled and he fell to the ground unconscious unaware of the dark chuckle that came from the figure that had drugged him.

-Hours later-

Night woke to find himself tied and blindfolded and yes of course he had a headache from aftereffects of whatever they drugged him with, who would want to kidnap him and why and what were they planning to do with him? He shivered as thoughts ran through his head and he realized that they had forgotten to gag him so he could still yell for help, somepony would have to hear him unless of course he was locked in some dungeon far from any other pony.

"Hello, is anypony out there? Help!"He called out as loudly as he could and listened as his voice echoes around the room, where-ever he was it was sure big and he guessed it was probably like a castle or something.
