Wonderful painting, love the underwater feel of it and the shimmering aspect of its colours. Also really like the character and her meditative stance, she seems so at peace and like being water personified, which fits really well with her mermaid nature. Oh god, I can't explain how beautifully captivating this piece is. Her skin looks so pale and almost translucent, yet looks so warm. She looks like she's made of fragile glass. She's so beautifully painted. Her hair looks so right and complementary to the other elements in this artwork. I love the cartoony blush on her face, and again, her porcelain-like skin. This is so beautiful!

On her skin, I showed it simply, smoothly and looked like a transparent overcoat instead of fish scales.
