Beautiful!

The shading is very nice!

I do think that an additional shadow under and to the left of the rose, would only serve to enhance the fantastic work here.

It doesn't have to be a dark shadow, just dark enough.

Still a great piece.

I love the use of shading and shadows to make the rose look more three-dimensional.  It is beautiful, especially since it is a sketch, since sometimes it makes the picture more meaningful without color.  I encourage you to continue with your sketches, for you are certainly a welcomed artist.
