Description Sorry, but there's not going to be any timestamps today because to be honest I just didn't feel like it. I was forced to wake up at 9AM because mom told me that if I don't wake up earlier they won't have any breakfast left for me. When I woke up today it was just clear that I didn't want to go anywhere except stay in the motel all day and just binge YouTube videos and that's all I did. I know this doesn't make for a very interesting story or journal but I've been feeling really down for some reason.

Had a bowl of Laksa Noodles and Pangkor Curry Noodles, meanwhile my brother had some english breakfast of some kind. We met one of our old neighbours back when we still had the house. I guess it was pretty fun that I get to catch up with them again. My friend wasn't there though, I was told they were out studying in Taiwan, and it made me sad a little bit. On the other hand, I could only wish him the best of luck out there.

I basically slept through the entire afternoon because quite frankly I didn't get much sleep yesterday. Even though I slept early, during the night i kept having to go to the toilet, and i keep waking up for no reason. They went to play by the sea, and I binned some videos waiting for them to be back. I went out to buy some snacks somewhere in between.

Today went by fast. I went to the shared balcony by the sea and there was a hanging bed and I lied on it. Dinner came and went, and I couldn't even remember what the hell we talked about. My mum kinda knew what was up so they left me alone while they all chatted at the balcony.

I went out alone by the sea, it was a long distance from my motel to the beach: about an hour by foot if you're not a fast walker. Luckily one of my friend's bicycle still hung around even though he's not living here anymore, and I basically just stole the bike and went all the way to the beach with it. I doubt anybody else was riding the bicycle, but it was surprisingly still fully functional, only the gears are a bit rusty. This is like a godly coincidence, because I remember that I used to ride this bicycle when I was still 12.

The roads are quiet, but there are some shops still open. I guess I never really experienced the night life at Pangkor before: I was a good kid back in the days and the most I've done was to cycle around the entire island with my friends during the day.

I didn't tell my mom that I was going out at night, because partly, I didn't want to wake her up and partly because I knew she wouldn't let me. I also didn't bring my phone out which means that this part of the journal entry is being written in the morning, when I'm waiting for the boat.

Anyway, as I expected, the beach was empty, and the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore just calms me right down. I left the bicycle under a tree, took off my sneakers and went for a midnight run in the sand.

I think about half an hour had passed, and I'm starting to feel a little tired. I headed home and the midnight breeze felt colder than when I first rode the bicycle. I immediately knew what was coming up and I increased my speed back to the motel.

As soon as I reached the motel, it started to pour, and I was right. Mom always told me that if the wind suddenly starts getting colder, seek shelter immediately as it is about to rain.

I couldn't return the bike to its original place where I found it, and so I just went back into my room and had a quick shower before sleeping.

Well, guess what, I was forced to wake up by my mum again. She said that our bus ride home was at 9AM, and there was one moment where I'm like "why the fuck did you buy morning tickets" and then I realized I had work tomorrow. Regardless and again, didn't get enough sleep. Even though the second day didn't go as planned, overall I was pretty satisfied with the trip back to Pangkor. On the way home I guess I'll finally have some time to get some shut-eye, though I doubt it, with how noisy my brother gets.

I can't stress enough how one should definitely come to this island. If you're looking for somewhere to take your worries away, here's perfectly the place you're looking for.

I've not been to many places, but this is definitely one of the places that I'm glad I get to experience, and every part of the trip was enjoyable. I originally wanted to write about my favorite moments but then I realized that every part of the trip had their own moments.

I had fun writing this journal entry, I had fun going back to the places I've been to before and meeting everyone again, and most importantly, I had fun enjoying the island life again.

I'll see you guys soon enough, time to get back to my home and get some well needed sleep.
