Robberg Penninsula is a rocky coastal resort just 8km south of Plettenberg Bay. Robberg is a popular hiking area offering 3 circular routes of increasing distance and difficulty with the longest trail taking around 4 - 5 hours. While in the Robberg area one will have the opportunity to see a wide variety of plant species and birdlife, as well as Cape Fur Seals, Dolphins, and Whales. Robberg Nature Reserve is a marine reserve and national monument that looks very similar to a ‘mini’ Cape Peninsula and some of the rocks in the area are said to be over 110 million years old.
