what about colouring, should the colouring be based off the plant/leaves/flower/fruit?

Yes, the coloring should mainly be based on the plant's colors but you could use different colors for small areas like markings. ^^

hi, love the art, I have 2 questions, if a floral flister is represented by a plant that does not bear fruit then can the flister still create fruit? can the flister have horns even though the representing plant doesn't have any hard material?

Those are tricky questions. What plant did you have in mind?
Generally I'd say they can't create fruit if the plant doesn't. And the horns have to somehow match the plant. You could potentially make horns part of the mask if you really wanted to have them, though c:

I was thinking of a peony or a weeping willow but more on the peony side.

Well, a weeping willow would have hard material, and both of those plants produce fruit ^^

I literally did not know that a weeping willow or peonies produced fruit so that explains my first question, and like I sed I am leaning toward peonies so that was my second question. you did answer both questions and gave me information that I had no idea existed so thx very much ^^ so I will stop bothering you now thx again. ^^

Ich denke ich werde sie bald zu einer halboffenen Spezies machen. Das heißt nur Blütenmähne und Flügel werden noch was kosten, der Flister an sich wird kostenlos. So wie es jetzt ist gefällt es mir nicht. xD
Von da her - ja! MYOs werden bald dauerhaft offen sein. Dauert nur noch etwas weil ich zur Zeit für Prüfungen lernen muss ... v_v

Freut mich echt zu hören! Ehrlich gesagt mag ich sie auch echt gerne und liebe es sie zu malen. Mein ganzer Terminplaner ist voll mit Skizzen und Designs von Flistern ;v;
Also zu deiner Frage, zum einen ist meine Reichweite was Leute die sich für Adoptables interessieren betrifft leider nicht so wahnsinnig hoch. Wenn ich sie zu einer halboffenen Spezies mache dann kann jeder der will sich einen machen, was dazu führt dass auch mehr Leute darauf aufmerksam werden. Ich glaube so wird sich das ganze trotzdem rentieren. Zum anderen finde ich es selbst unheimlich interessant wenn andere Leute einen Flister designen. Einige Leute hatten echt tolle Ideen mit Tiefseepflanzen und Kakteen und so, die sie aber so nicht einfach selbst umsetzen konnten. Was auch noch ein Punkt ist: jeder der sich bisher einen MYO slot gekauft oder gewonnen hatte, hat auch gleich special Traits benutzt - somit wird sich hoffentlich niemand hintergangen fühlen solange ich die Preise für die Spezialsachen beibehalte (bzw. ein bisschen steigere weil der Grundpreis ja wegfällt).
Das mit den seltenen Traits gilt auch für Twilight Flister, die haben ja statt der Blütenmähne Mähne die an anderen Stellen wächst oder eben auch Flügel als special Traits.
Über ein Limit hab ich noch gar nicht nachgedacht - aber ich sehe irgendwie keinen Nachteil darin wenn jemand sich von mir aus 10 oder 20 macht - oder sich 10 oder 20 kauft. xD Von da her gibt es aktuell kein Limit.
Wird wahrscheinlich dann so Anfang-Mitte Februar so weit sein - vielleicht auch früher, mag mich da jetzt noch nicht festlegen ^^' Kommt sehr auf meine Laune und Motivation an.

STONE is an impossibly [plus stone for such a small breed would be pointless, it would be to heavy if there stronger variance because most plants ain't strong]
however, there is a semi organic METAL that could grow on or around a plant
or like THE LAST OF US bullet proof plates made from spores of plague that harden into a ceramic like material
[also these traits are nature made? what about man made plants to form hybrid flowers?]

That's a lot of questions ... alright first for the stone material. When I wrote this I mostly thought of gems that are used for decoration. I am not even sure what a stone armor would look like since armor is pretty impossible to forge out of rocks. So rocks are more a decoration thing.
It's hard to say wich flowers are man-made since a looot of plants, flowers, grass are bread by humans. But I'd say as long as the plant exists, there can be a Flister for it.
I haven't thought about carnivorous plant yet, that's right ... I think their personalities would indeed be a bit more aggressive and mischievous. I've never heard of poison gas or plague like flowers tbh. I'm not a native English speaker so ... maybe that's why.
And you mean under water plants? Man that sounds like a hella cool design. It's possible! Flisters draw their energy from their plant parts that produce energy through photosynthesis. Wherever they can live, Flister can live as well.
I would imagine them to look a little different though ... maybe I'll make one some day~

PLAGUE base flowers feed off other plants and dead stuff, fungus, mushrooms, weeds etc[ look up last of us PS4 game] [they are plant made zombies fungus mutated that used to only infect spiders but mutated to infect humans] [it a fungus plant that infects primary SPIDERS makes it do it's biting like a ZOMBIE THIS PLANT IS real life Fungus]
poison base flower [exmple there was one native to Africa it made skunks smell nice, it was compared to WW2 Nazi's mussed-gas however it wasn't able to spray like a skunk but released extremely bad smelling cloud near it center if anything living got near it

also how would tea cup plants be? [ tea cups is a nick name given to sap acid carry plants, a bug claims in but the sap walls and sap acid eats the bug away and makes it unable to get out (don't know their real name]

would it be able to shoot out it spikes and have toxic sap so it would protect it self by killing it self [basically setting it self on fire releasing a cloud of toxic spores?]

Ah that explains it c: Flisters can only be based on real, existing plants. No zombie plants. There could be like parasitic plants though like a strangler fig or so.
A smell is not exactly poison gas xD but if the plant existed there can be a Flister for it I suppose xD
The Flister would probably be corrupted though - if its plant is really extinct.
I'd say maybe when they die they kind of start moving more slowly over the time until they stop somewhere and become one with their environment kinda like Davy Jones crew members in Pirates Of The Caribbean become one with the ship ... just in a good way. So they never truly die but merge with their environment. You could also ask how they are born but I think I'll add more info on that some other day.
Those tea cup plants are probably what I meant with carnivorous plants. They would be more aggressiv but otherwise not much different.
Aaand the cactus ones. Yeah I've been wondering about that as well. Someone has also asked me this before - I think it would be different depending on the type of cactus. I'll make one of those in the future as well just to see how they might look.
Also ... no I don't think they would explode xD Their body parts are body parts and not projectiles ... I wouldn't preclude (?) it entirely though.
