I like the clouds on the blue sky and water rushing down with wihte bubles...Neat focusing and subtle appearing of the winter trees adss much ...Wonderfull composition..

Wow...Loretta! Thanks so much for the thoughtful gift!! This is more dramatic than I remember the Santiam. And it's a wonderful reminder of the river on which I spent so many days as a boy. Now I'll have to plan a return trip. Again, thanks!

nope the fly fishing is not good around here, some places on the river are good though. Most just Salmon and Steelhead here. Glad you like the shot, it was really loud the white water just pounded through this area.
