Looks very Roxy like Love the napkin idea, in any case. How do you make sure that it's not showing up as napkin, really?

Hi, Pasting the ultra thin layers of tissue on canvas will only show the structure of the canvas underneath. If you look up close you then will notice it's printed material. I must say the outcome is amazing especially by using the same color tones in the rest of the painting.

that's napkins, so meaning you added some slight paint for shadowing or shading?

Most of the shadows I created by pasting several darker tissue layers on top of each other. for some small parts i painted slightly over the tissue... experimental technique! Thanks for your question Jas!
