Made it a few weeks ago just in time for AX but I actually went through a lot of pain to get it done on time. When I was working on his arm/background, I found out that I'd accidentally deleted the layer with all of the coloring of his body below the shoulder and hadn't noticed at all! I even saved it like that without realizing. After sobbing about it for half an hour, I forced myself to redraw everything and finish it.
For sanity, I tell myself that it looks better than before. OTL
Regardless, I'm glad I finished it 'cause Assassin's Creed IS SO AMAZING. It took me awhile to warm up to it but and I got so hooked and spent a week half-playing it and half-drawing for AX. Altair and that feather thing he does will always have a special place in my heart!

I noticed you explaining to some people the missing finger but if the left hand is missing it, then is the blade on the other hand a hidden blade or some sort of knife, perhaps? it looks kind of wide to be the hidden blade...

Whew, the blood effect melding with the flag in the background makes a beautifully lethal scene. Altair seems to project an aura of total calm and deadliness. Scaaaary.
