I just love drawing professional ballerinas. They're gorgeous. And graceful. And perfect. I wish I was still dancing.Reference is a photo of Dame Alicia Markova, DBE, (1 December 1910 – 2 December 2004) who was an English ballerina and a choreographer, director and teacher of classical ballet.

I completely agree, I had to use a photograph of a ballerina as reference recently, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just looking for one was a pleasure; all the grace and gorgeous shapes they can make with their bodies. For me that's what makes ballet such a legitimate art form.
