In medieval Jewish folklore Lilith is Adam's first companion, created together with him before Eve.
Lilith would have been in constant conflict with her husband, because she refused to obey him and finally she would have escaped from the earthly Paradise and she would have preferred to live with demons rather than return with Adam.
Having not touched the Tree of Knowledge, she was not condemned to mortality and she thus became synonymous with evil.
Lilith is a demon, wife and mother of demons, the Lilim, so she has often been associated with Witches, in a negative sense.
In the original conception of her, she represents an aspect of the Great Goddess.
As the protector of women in labor and newborns, she represented the divine essence of motherhood and, therefore, of life and the beginning of every life.
In this sense all women are Lilith: because woman is life, she is fertility, she is passion, she is transgression, she is the beauty of everything that has been created.
there are various legends linked to her in different cultures, but in recent times the figure of Lilith has been redeemed as a positive symbol for all women.
