Description
With among many others the Estonian folklore has many tales about Snakeking - a mythical snake with strong magical powers. Sometimes benevolent, sometimes not the Snakeking can bestow supernatural abilites, protection or advice on to people. Blade is probably forged from Böhler k990 as there was mixup with the material from the distributor. Pattern is etched and fitting is cast brass. Handle is my first attempt to use my own made resin-stabilized and coloured wood - linden burl with blue pigment in this case. Naturally lindenwood is too soft for such application but with the modern resins it is possible and gives great results as the wood itself is beautiful.
