Dragonlance was the first fantasy series I ever read and I still like to read it after twenty something years xD They really are not masterpieces of literature, but I love Raistlin (and Sturm's mustache)! :'D And it's so nostalgic to re-read and remember how confused I was as a kid, since I started from 'The new generation' and there were some weird translation mistakes in Finnish versions. Like, there is two words for uncle in Finnish, 'eno' (mother's brother) and 'setä' (father's brother), and the book said that Raistlin is Palin's eno and Caramon's brother and I was wondering what a damn incest family is this!

That is so damn funny. The same happens to me. Nostalgia has me reading them again even if they were already old by the time I read them but I was also in love with Raistlin (how could one not) and Kitiara. Best characters ever! Neither good nor evil, just freaking SELFISH. Just like all of us humans.
I wish the younger generations still read about their adventures...
