For those who don't know, the guy wearing Grunkle Stan's outfit is Alex Hirsch, Gravity Falls' Creator.
I corrected the proportions and stuff and added the damn Mystery (S)Hack. I know I promised a tutorial, but I'm too lazy :'D Just kidding, I'm almost done with Part I of IV.
I have no idea what exactly was coming out of Bill's fancy top hat, so I added nothing to it 8D

The visualization of this scene is very well done, in that it keeps the same style of Gravity Falls and the attention to detail on how the story describes/implies the scenario the Pine twins are in.
The originality of the drawing is impressive to say the least. The gorge's layout and design, the clothing (Mabel's cute sweater to be exact), and I suppose the creatures that lurk in the background (though more on the how you still lay a reminder on the threatening presence).
Technique is just extraordinarily amazing. You manage to keep the simplicity that makes Gravity Falls have its unique cartoon style. The added fog/dust, shadowing, and foreboding presence of the lurking creatures gives the wanted atmosphere of panic, distress, sadness, and all negative emotions that can be arisen in a scene like this. Nearly everything is done flawlessly (that disney channel though).
It's quite incredible how you managed to leave such an impression on me with just a simple picture as this. I feel actual concern and compassion for them here even though it's not from a real episode and not even real danger. But you've put together such a brilliantly done piece with it's atmosphere, tone, color palette, style and e criteria, that just squeezes at the heart of the GF fans. From what I see, your work always has some sort of impact, whether funny or serious, it never disappoints.
There is a but though, and it's just very minor details that can be shaken off. The lines, done amazingly of course, is different from how the actually style is. There are certain places the lines actually change slightly in thickness, usually around curves that give it that certain "drawn" cartoon feel. Again, this is only a very slight difference, but a nice one in that it adds to originality. Another would be Mabel's bangs being on the wrong side, again this is only a slight flaw. But one I that catches my attention the most is Dipper's legs. Though there is fog/dust and rocks all around, the way his legs disappear behind the cloud is rather blunt. Given, in a thick enough cloud things can "disappear", but it generally the more an object protrudes from a cloud, the more it looks to fade into " disappearing". But this is just an observation.
All in all, it is an amazingly, lovely piece.

Plot twist: Alex Hirsch is secretly working with Bill to kill the twins. To do so, he is posing as their Grunkle Stan and as shown in the picture above, is welcoming the twins to Gravity Falls. So far, no one has suspected a thing. No one.

When I drew the original drawing, I imagined them welcoming the twins to the Mystery Shack and then saying something like "We put the "fun" in "No refunds!" or maybe something sinister but in a way too cheerful way or a dark warning about the forest, then going "WELP, BETTER START UNPACKING, KIDS! LOTS OF WORK TO DO!"

I imagine that's what happened in the real show. dAmmit (get it? dA? deviantArt? dAmmit? Aw, whatever), the next season is actually supposed to show us Bill, more about the twins' past and parents and shit and other stuff and I NEED SEASON 2!
