Yay! I've finally finished this set of KAKAOs/ACEOs, which startet just with two spontaneous trades. After that I had the idea to continue with the concept to use the games chaos emeralds and for every new card the second character from the one before.I must admit that it has been years (like 1996..?) since I've last drawn Sonic Characters - some of them (Shadow, the dark Chao, Rouge, Blaze & Silver) for the very first time. Quite a challenge (with MANY design mistakes I think), but alot of fun!
There are still many other characters I really want to draw - Tikal and Mighty for example - so let's see what future holds.
Anyway, I hope you'll like them~

I think this artwork is amazing. One question though. Why isn't Silver super with Sonic and Shadow? I mean, he can turn Super too, you know.

I know that Silver can turn super (so as Knuckles can be Hyper and Tails Turbo XD) - it doesn't matter here because it's the concept of the complete set (as mentioned above). The only reason for Sonic & Shadow beeing super is that there are all 7emeralds together on one card~ : )

Let me see if I can figure out all the Zones. From the order you described: Hidden Palace, Green Hill, Mushroom Hill, Sandopolis, Marble Garden, Death Egg, Ice Cap, and Doomsday. How well did I do?

Except for 'Death Egg' @ #666 which is 'Death Line' (Sonic Rush) and I didn't name a Zone for #687, but I guess 'Doomsday' is very fitting~ ^^

No problem. To be honest, I never would have guessed that the last time you drew Sonic stuff was over fifteen years ago, especially since the Sonic Team didn't meet their new friends or get their Modern looks until at least 1999. It really gives off the impression that you have drawn Sonic all this time, and You did a great job with the modern looks, and I hope you can find the time too.
Wow! I didn't think I'd get the first Zone either. It was a tough one. For 666, Dead Line or Crazy Gadget, or any of the Ark itself would have been my other choices. And as for 687, I actually thought so too, but I didn't want to stop the cycle or make up something like OUTER SPACE ZONE

Mit dem tauschen dieser Karten bzw. der noch freien bin Ich etwas kleinlich muss Ich gestehen, da wünsche Ich mir einfach Motive mit mehr Interaktion und Hintergrund, da halt auch sehr viel Zeit reingesteckt habe und mir die Karten -Dank Fandomwahn- sehr am Herzen liegen.
Wie kommt es eigentlich das Du die Karte jetzt doch noch hast? Hat die Frau sich nicht mehr gemeldet? (mir ist auch als hätte Ich da von jemand anderem etwas ähnliches mitbekommen..)
Wie auch immer - wir können gerne dieses Jahr mal allgemein wieder tauschen, das haben wir wirklich schon lange nicht mehr gemacht! ^^

The only traditional stuff up is all my insane abstract work. I've never thought to upload Sonic OC b&w and or color penciled stuff. I'm not the type to color at all aha.

I wouldn't call your abstract stuff 'insane' - it's different, in a good way~
And I guess I understand what you mean with being not the coloring-type. Especially with pencils it's pretty tiring and takes way too long to finish it with a nice look. Maybe you just should try another 'faster' media, like markers or aquarell~

Just how my personality is to some extent.
The way I've been feeling, getting hearts and hugs from anyone is nice.
I guess we can agree to disagree. I really do not do that abstract type of art anymore though as that was something I did when growing up. But thanks for the positive words.
I could do coloring, its just whenever I draw I tend not to think of color, just black and white- lineart. Maybe I could try that. But I still cannot shade whatsoever.

Well, just do it - coloring thing I mean (in case you feel uneasy, make a copy of your lineart) and do not thing about 'how to shade', that works quite good (I also cannot shade.. at least I don't think about it.. X,D )~
