Oops!Just experimenting with some expressions.
I also have a new camera on pre-order.. The Canon 5D MkII! I can't wait. I've been wanting a new camera for ages but stopped myself from taking the plunge because I thought canon would bring out a new one.

This is amazing. One of my favourite pictures, and I don't even know why. It's just visually pleasing to look at it, with the bold pink color and the simplicity of the expressions, and it definitely reminds me of the kind of pictures I've always wanted to take.

I came across this image while doing some random dA browsing, and it struck me as serendipitous that I had just written a line in my story: "Her eyes were blue, but very dark, like the blue at the edge of a deep night." And then here is my character staring out of the screen. Pale skin, dark hair and all. Frankly, this is exactly as I envisioned her. If it ever gets to the novel stage, and then on to publishing, I'll be checking back with you about cover images

Did you use a ring flash to get the circular effect in the eyes? If not how did you do it? I love this picture and the pink nail varnish aswell. Just amazing!
