Third illustration for chapter 20 of Conflicted Omens. Fell is summoning the archangels. This drawing was inspired by a really awesome piece I found on Etsy, which will soon be hanging on my wall. Here it is: www.etsy.com/listing/152421370…

A golden glow began to pulse from Fell’s being. A halo appeared over his head and his feet lifted off the ground. Everyone but Caudery moved away from the angel as he rose in the air. Even the storm of demonic darkness kept its distance. Lightening flashed. A crack of thunder shook the thick air. A giant pair of white wings unfolded, dwarfing the short figure of the angel.
Caudery’s shadow mirrored Fell. The tall demon was surrounded by blackened wings, then shadow turned into reality as the back of Caudery’s jacket ripped with a great effort. His pair of damaged wings spread and unfurled from his essence, feathers to the sky.
