Fell had seen Caudery’s anger before. Newt had also, but they had not seen anger to this extreme. It was another kind of anger, a kind that changed Caudery’s appearance so his face was almost unrecognizable. Everyone stepped back. The demons shrank away. Even Satan wasn’t expecting this. Caudery’s fangs were bared in a snarl, his forked tongue exposed as he let loose a war cry. The crowbar in his hands seemed to lengthen and become the great staff that Caudery was no longer meant to weld. The crowbar flashed like a double-edge sword as the demon raised it.
Caudery was on fire with Righteous anger.
