First illustration of chapter 11 of Conflicted Omens- "Of Hurt and Reconciliation." Should this be labeled mature? This chapter is very heavy, and does contain semi-graphic violence and references to torture, all of which sadly happens to Caudery. For me it’s graphic, for most people my age, probably not. I mean you all read the Hunger Games. I couldn’t. So yeah. You have been warned.

Caudery leaned his head against the wall at his back. The abrasive, hard materiel was the only cool surface in this place. He tried to breath, but the blood in his mouth made him choke on the air. The air was hot, thick and dead. Very dead.
“My God, is there no end?”

The words left Caudery’s mouth in a pitiful squeak.
