Fourth illustration for chapter 17 of Conflicted Omens. The idea for this was inspired by a drawing I saw a while back of Crowley breathing life back into Aziraphale’s dead dove. I knew I needed to add something like that to my tale. Caudery’s worry about the end of the world is temporarily diverted by an injured dove. He saves it, showing yet another side to his character. That little spark of goodness.

As Fell continued to watch, Caudery lifted his hands and released the dove. It took off soaring towards the sky, wings out full, flying without a hint of injury, if not a little wearily.
