Description Prince Nuada from Hellboy 2, reguested by my dear real-life friend

She wanted me to draw this piece with a black ballpoint-pen. That sure wasn´t easy However, I had a lot of fun making this, especially his armor ^^

I really hope you like it.
Please, I do not want critique on this. I know there´s failures

Drawn with ballpoint pen, and 2B pencils for the background.
Worktime: around 5½ - 6 hours.

Character does not belong to me.

I haven't seen the movie yet so I don't really know what he looks like BUT all I can say is that you've done gorgeus job and I believe this is as accurate as you could make him look. The armor is very well done! I like how you put as much effort to your requests and trades as you put into your personal art. RESPECT!

I haven´t seen the movie either. I didn´t even know the character, before I got requested to draw him

I like to do requests too ( that's why I'm always buried under a pile of requests ), they are good for practising different things as you can never know what you will be requested for.

You did very well with the pen. It's quite different to use a pen, especially if you happen to be used to pencils, like me.

I just recently saw Hellboy II, and I think you did Nuada justice. His expression is just perfect. >D Keep up the great work!

I agree on that. It sure isn´t easy using pens. I missed my other tools
However, it is fun to try, and I think I will do it more often. (maybe) ^^

Can you recommend it? I haven´t seen it yet. I didn´t even know this character

Something about using pens is just... fun. I tend to be really messy and scribbly when I use pens, though. Same with charcoal. I feel loose and light when I use media like that... of course, it means I don't put the detail into them I should. :/ But it's fun, nonetheless.

I would recommend Hellboy II -- I think it's good if you've seen the first movie and liked it. Its story was maybe a little cliche in some places, but the characters and designs were spectacular.

Yeah those tools sure aren´t easy to use. I normally avoid charcoal. It´s so messy

I saw the first film of Hellboy and I was very disappointed... but the second one seems better At least there are some characters that really amaze me O___O One day I'll see it, be sure
