but yeah, it's obvious the higher ups want fire/fighting to come back. Incinerorar isn't fooling anyone

Maybe this will not be it. I mean, many thoguht that Litten was going to turn out to be Fire/Fighting because of his "wrestler tiger" theme, but Incineroar turned out to be Fire/Dark.
Maybe it will be something similar to Scorbunny. He might have the appearence and the skills of a fighter, but he will not be a Fighting-Type.

I've heard leaks about Scorbunny's last evolution to be part fighting, but I would still pic it anyway even if the fire/fighting thing been overdone

And now the newest Pokemon Direct revealed that Scorbunny can learn Double Kick, which kinda leans toward the Fire/Fighting theory.
I don't care what type Scorbunny's final evolution gets. I will still like that bunny regardless.
