So I've been looking for flags or symbols used as heraldry by the kingdom of the Lombards (568-774) and honestly, I can't find much, Paradox games just drop on them the Visconti Flag and I really couldn't find anything but the ball on the wiki page of Polandball, which honestly I'm not a fan of (it looks great but it's not something I'm into). So I did some research and found out that the Lombards were renown for their work of jewellery and that they were fast to convert to Christianity and romanize abandoning their germanic roots. So I thought about two possible versions, one which is the flag of Milan and the league of Lombardy with four Lombard crosses (kind of following a legend that would want the flag of Milan given to the city in the V century and thus an influence of the city on these people, however historically it is very possible that the flag was adopted after the crusades) and one which is simply a Lombard cross (a cross with a lot of interweaving decorations depicted on it) on a red field (symbolising the romanization of the Lombard people). Which one do you prefer?
