✨️Great Hornbill✨️So... despite me messing around with many styles and topics throughout the years, on thing that persists, as you may notice, is animal illustrations I do, mostly birds.
That probably has its roots in all the lovely wildlife themed books my grandad has gifted me ever since I was young, and they persist as an inspiration to me- that includes in this newest series of mine. Nonetheless, I remember staring into my small, colourful animal encyclopedia when I was around 5, and always being fascinated by this illustration of a Hornbill holding a Berry, wondering what strange looking creatures the world has to offer.
After scrolling through a more recent book I got, I found this magnificent guy again- so I drew him
