"You know there are quite a few ruins along the coast near my hometown." She smiled back at the young man seated in the row behind her. "Would you like to go exploring them with me during the break this summer?"
“Alrightstudentspencilsdown, yes pencils down.” The lanky green haired man zipped from one side of the classroom to the other verifying the teenagers followed his instructions. Just for the sake of it she made her pencil float off the desk surface and lazily spin through the air several times, earning a throat clearing from the hyperactive teacher suddenly standing in front of her, before it settled back down. “Please pass your exam sheets to the center and front and I will collect them.”
Having chosen to sit toward the center stairs when her team sat down in the front row she accepted the sheets of paper from the other three girls and then turned to take the stack from the blond haired boy seated with his team behind her. As he leaned over the desk holding the sheaf of papers in both hands to avoid dropping them she just happened to reach a little past his hands so that her fingers traced lightly across the skin of his wrists when she pulled back to grab the stack in the center, earning a blush that she felt complimented his blue eyes nicely.
She then turned back to the impatiently waiting teacher with a pleased smile as she handed him the exam sheets. “Thank you Miss Schnee.” She was willing to put Lien on it that he emphasized her name because he felt she was dallying. “So this exam was to establish a baseline of your knowledge of the recorded history of Remnant. For you homework this weekend we have a interesting experiment in how well you know your own personal history.”
*siiiiip* Professor Oobleck was suddenly behind his desk again taking a quick drink from on of his many coffee cups. “You will be creating a character sheet for yourself as though you were a character in one of the MORPG games popular on the CCTS.”
