Indeed, I'm always looking for inspiration. As you know, sometimes you run short of ideas and then somethings clicks, it's weird eh, this ARTISTIC PROCESS!
Please see My Hill in the Mixed Media folder in my gallery for my writing piece if you like. I found it quite cathartic to write.......

It's always good to go new places and change up your everyday routine a bit to let new inspiration creep in through the floor boards. I recently got the art Bamboo Tablet for my Birthday and I believe it's going to add another layer to my work. Thank you for sharing the Hill with me. It was great article about you as a creative artist. I also got the privilege to see that documentary Blank City! Thank you for forwarding that to me I really enjoyed it. Have a great week John.

Indeed, who knows what is going to provide new inspiration? I just had a drink with my friend and, after his accident, he's certainly getting a new slant on life as he recovers. So good to see he should be good before too long.

That is wonderful to here that you friend is well again...I am glad you two sit back & have a drink...It's amazing how sometimes as people we take things that might seem trivial for granted...makes us appreciate the little things and value the love we have of friendship for our close friends...You should so a portrait of him...lol
Yes I am getting back to normal...feeling better...getting back on a schedule working on some exciting protects and working on a series pf mix media painting that I want to show in an art gallery that is my birthday resolution...the Bamboo Tablet is awesome...it allows you to draw traditionally on the computer...so it's going to add more of a traditional look to my pieces...see my newest piece I posted...The colors of my ocean...I woke up really early today had the urge to bake muffins & cookies for some reason lol...

I think as people we get comfortable in our safe zone with the people around us that we care about...so much...that when something devastating happens it's quite a shock...that is why we shouldn't take anything for granted in life...

I guess the safe zone can be more stable if we prepare for the worst and hope for the best and keep that in the back of our minds or in our subconscious.
Thank you for forwarding the art show link to me. It had a lot of interesting art work featured with an array of colors and mix media; definitely my forte.
The bamboo table is a lot of fun to use...but I understand the love of the real true media...which I am getting back into. I have been doing a lot of new sketches & will be working on a new series of artwork of surfer girls,beach scenes & surfer dudes...I will keep you posted on that...lol...and I will enjoy cooking...always do

Doing nice things for your closest friends and family off the whim I think makes the bond stronger and taking a step back from out of yourself and really look who is surrounding you and appreciating people in your life for who they really are...is something everybody should do from time to time....
YESSSS!!!! Surfer girls and dudes...That is exactly what my partner said to me...lol....but I must do some artwork for the ladies ....lol
