Description I love this one! This was the first time I tried doing my usual "style", but with colour pencils!

I realised the one thing that kept scewing up colour drawings for me was that I never bothered resharpening pencils, so for this one I promised myself to keep them sharp, and the fur turned out just how I liked (I think I used 4 or 5 colours in the brown in case you want to know )

This is slightly bigger than A4, and was also done for the art show, though I would like to have kept it. It was sold for *whispers* $300

I love scenes in the woods with little red mushrooms (By the way, it's a stoat.)

This is gorgeous again, I'm not surprised you sold it! It's lovely. I love the different colours in the stoat's coat. I always envy good coloured pencil artists!

Lovely work Sidney! ^^ I can totally see why you wanted to keep this one :3 I do like seeing your coloured pieces and this one is beautiful! The red colored mushrooms finish the piece off. Love the attention to detail on the fur! and very interesting how many shades it took! I love how you captured the Stoat's curious and alert face

Thank you, thank you and thank you I was actually pretty clueless what colours to use for the fur. I just ended up starting with the lightest (yellow ochre-ish) and layering on random browns Now I'm kind of relieved that I can do stuff in colour ...Things can get boring without it
Thanks for the fav!

My favorite parts are the mushrooms! I also like the soft colors.

Yes it's also a very colourless scene without the mushrooms.
Thank you
