= a Bilby!!

Okay...so it could have been a chinchilla...I love those animals... But chinchilla's aren't little

So, it's a bilby. A Greater Bilby. The Lesser Bilby became extinct around 1950 after the English settlers came to Australia, so now this guy is just commonly known as the Bilby.

I started this one off with my usual way of drawing fur as with my previous animal drawings, but then I got to the part below the ears where the parting fur made dark areas and from then on my lines were sort of bolder.

So it looks kind of woody around its neck and different to my other drawings.

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot to say, this bilby represents my Australian version of the Hare from the Chinese Zodiac.
