Description I think this is my first proper drawing of a cat... (You know I only started drawing ' properly' regularly about two years ago.)

This was finished a few weeks ago, but I kept having assessments to do so I didn't have time to scan it x_x.

It's a ' portrait' of [link] and his wife's cat, Foo Foo, for which I used this photo as my reference. As you can see, their cat has the most adorable big round eyes, which I clearly didn't do justice in my drawing T_T

In any case, I still like this as the drawing that it is

Thanks! Yeah, the nose looks wonky, doesn't it? There was actually a spot of black fur on the (cat's) right side of the nose, which broke the symmetry.

The eyes turned out really well, the cat has a nice expression. The fur looks very realistic.
I think it looks a bit pale overall.

Probably sounds funny, but the drawing reminds me a bit of uncooked dough... I wonder if that's like the paleness you're talking about I decided to leave the background white and just outline the coffee tray as a simple way of resolving them.
