mmm.. out of all the things I was supposed to do today, this certainly wasn't one of them ^^'' I'm really tired, so I can't really figure out what to say about this other than that, lol. I like this for a lot of reasons. On first glance I thought the contrast of colors was a little too harsh, but I'm very fond of it the more I look at it, because you've executed it well and it adds overall to the message. I like the pose of the model, and I really want to sit down and write a story about it. ^_^ About somebody who put there heart in a bottle and set it in a slow current so it wouldn't hurt so much as it drifted away. But she can't help watching a little out of the corner of her eye...

What I feel, is that she's been wandering around an island, symbolizing her current life. Unconciously, she wants to be more adventurous and experience life to its full potential, but conciously she feels that only her island is safe, and keeps to herself, and so the skies are clouded. The message in the bottle symbolizes someone reaching out to her, offering her something that she does not have. As the clouds begin to clear, she can now see what it is she has been missing, and now, all she has to do is take the bottle.

Thats a very interesting take on it, and makes me glad I didn't end up writing what it symbolizes to me since its letting other people find their own meanings
