For a long time that was all I had seen as well, I recorded the first seasons on vhs and watched them over and over again. I didn't watch the rest until I was an adult.

I never saw any of the episodes when I was younger. The first time I watched a Sailor Moon episode was when I was in college. You're welcome and it looks like it was fun to draw.

I'm pretty much the same but with Mako instead of Usagi. And yeah, I love the rest of them as well, Usagi will always have a special place in my heart They all make me incredibly happy! Jupiter is just the one that makes my heart beat a little harder and faster

Well, she is after all the cool one of the group in my personal opinion. In my case, yes Usagi has always had a special place in my heart too, together with Mamoru and Seiya, ironically enough I ship both pairings, though of course only one is canon. Still, Seiya has that second special place in my heart, that dear (and yes, if I count from after the end of Sailor Stars I always see her as a girl, not a boy). But I'm digressing.

The one thing I felt always sorry about, especially in the mangas, is the fact that the other scouts hardly get a lot of love when it comes to boy-/girlfriends. Usagi and Mamoru are the happy couple and some get hints for potential partners but Makoto for example will forever be in my mind as the girl who was left by that one boy in the rain. I think the only other couple that at least gets more than heavily hinted in the anime is Haruka and Michiru but that's it.

Yeah, with the exception of Haruka and Michiru (and at the very most Rei and Yuuishirou but that always felt very onesided to me), all that everyone else gets are more like quick weekend crushes that can't or won't last. Which in Makoto's case, is quite sad, I love her too much to feel okay with it ;A;

Yes, I think you're right in all points with that.
And what you said about Makoto, I think that's why I also feel so sorry for Seiya, because it reminds me a bit of Makoto, who got rejected as well. Not to mention, I love Seiya's character, so I ended up being a bit torn by the time Sailor Stars ended, about who I support more, Mamoru or Seiya.

I feel bad now about forgetting Seiya, but I've only seen Sailor Stars once and that was way too long ago. But I think we can all agree on Sailor Moon being quite sad in the romance department. A bit ironic when the theme song sings about "believing in miracle romance"

It was one of my firsts as well! I don't remember who I wanted to be, I kinda wanted to be all of them, with Jupiter as my best friend (I thought it was a bit weird that I wanted to cuddle her and that I couldn't get enough of her, stupid heteronormativity).

Not gonna lie I appreciate that comment! Since he was 100% thrown together by what I had and going to thrift stores...minus the wig...I thought he wasn't good. But seeing people who don't know me personally, say they like it, well its made me extremely happy! I can't wait to take him to cons!

Shush, you did very well! There is no such thing as bad cosplays, the scale goes from beginners and pros and nothing else, quality does not walk hand in hand with it
