Imagine if you will, the 80s turtles and co. get transported to the mutant mayhem dimension.

Both Leo’s would be practically twinning. 80s Leo would lend a more mature lens to MM Leo. It’d be a great dynamic.

Both Raph’s would be butting heads a lot and have a comeback argument for hours on end. I’d imagine they’d also annoy each other a lil bit, like whenever 80s Raph breaks the 4th wall and MM Raph is confused (a callback to turtles forever).

Both Donnie’s would be kinda awkward at first since they have the least in common but would bond over their interests in science and tech.

Both Mikey’s would be absolutely vibing, they would connect on instant.

Both splinters would be awkward at first and also have differences but soon warm up to each other.

Both Aprils would adore each other. They’d have a whole bond and dynamic and everything. MM April is more into journaling than reporting but 80s April would show her the ropes.

Both Irma’s would have the same dynamic as the aprils. We’d even get a funny moment where 80s Irma runs into MM Irma’s aunt since they both look the same, like looking into a younger/middle age mirror.

MM Casey would look up to 80s Casey like a big brother and mentor.

Both groups must work together to stop the 80s shredder, baxter, bebop and rocksteady. And since this is before the MM turtles meet their version of shredder, this would be their first time hearing about him and prepares them for what’s to come in the future.

And since the 80s turtles have had this thing happened to them before, have them acknowledge it with 80s Donnie make a comment like “Wait, this is the first time this has happened to you? This is like the third time for us, we assumed all of you guys met up more often.” Making the times they met both the 2003 and 2012 turtles canon.
Also throw in a little throwaway line when they arrive like “oh man, not this again!”, Hinting that this has happened to them before.

Finally for art style, keep the 80s turtles and co. in the same art style from their dimension instead of “Jimmy Timmy Power Hour” rules where you adapt to the look of whatever art style you’re put in.
