This green and blue is so captivating (like in your recent water colour); it's a colour combination I strongly associate your work with and I'm trying to figure out why (maybe because of Pescadora?). The particular hue you use for these blues and greens are so close to clashing, but teether on that edge and the result is thoroughly enchanting. Incredibly visually striking and magicial. Love it

I have a huge vendetta against monkeys, this one time when I was eight years old I went to the zoo with my folks, and it was hot as balls that time, which'll be important in a sec. So I'm standing at the monkey exhibit, and there's a monkey hanging on the bars of its cage. It's adorable. I loved it. I said hello, and it peed on me. It was like squirting a juice box, I was covered in money pee head to toe, and it was hot out. Y'all know what that means? Amplified monkey-piss smell. Everyone in a 15-metre radius was cackling at me like an army of Wicked Witches of the West. Horrendous. Humiliating. The washrooms were on the other side of the zoo, so imagine me, eight years old, drenched in the urination of a primate trying to make my way to the OTHER SIDE OF THE ZOO to wash off the liquid, but by the time we got there it has seeped into my pores. I smelled like monkey piss all the way to the splash pad my folks led me to in hopes of washing me off. To this day, I don't like monkeys.
