A gold-feathered dragon (or a gold, feathered dragon?) looking out on her domain of green hills and rocky outcroppings.

Another painting I did in my Canson XL mixed media sketchbook back in 2017. It wasn't something planned out that well (for instance, there's the blank area on the bottom left; it takes up the majority of the 9 x 12 page otherwise).

I rather like how the rocks turned out, and I was practicing feathered wings at the time.

I used watercolor pencils, and the sketchbook isn't the best quality for watercolor, but I thought it turned out well overall.

However, I still need practice adjusting lighting and color in my Photoshop Elements 5 program (I got it over a decade ago with a Wacom tablet I never use). This picture's a bit more saturated and higher contrasted than the real thing, but the original photo made it look faded.
