I had a hard time choosing this one... I finally settled on Leilani because this card likely represents a person who is gracious, patient, wise and understanding, also very conservative and do-goody; all of which she is. She's a political figure and many come to seek her council or her blessing. In the story she is the one whom Kenji goes to for the truest guidance (she's the only person he'll actually listen to).

from the link above I quote, "All things that are righteous and sacred come with the Hierophant Tarot card – marriage, alliance, captivity, servitude, mercy and goodness..." Leilani's role has her as Kenji's childhood fiance who's never been out of her own city (besides the 30 miles trip to the capital), who works tiredlessly doubling as governor of a county and caregiver to her deranged father. She's the kindest and most merciful person, pure of heart and mind.

The two knealing in pray before her are characters from other stories who have strong faith in a higher power. I wouldn't doubt that she herself would be quite religious.
