This is my entry for 's Crossover Contest!

Greetings, y'all!
I've decided to host my first contest ever!!! I'm really excited and a bit nervous about this, but I've been planning to do it for a long time, so here it goes.

The task is:
DRAW MY OC WITH YOURS! Do you have a character that would like to travel with Yngvar, paint with Aidan, fight with Hakon, drink with Helgi, party with Rannveig, wrestle with Lars, recite poetry with Merwyn, or simply explore the world in my stories and choose one of them as guide? Or would they be arch-enemies and fi

After reading about the characters, I was completely set on doing Merwyn and Ruka together. Both of them are dreamy and creative, anxious, and discontent with reality. There was a scene early in Merwyn's story of her out under the stars that really stuck with me and inspired me to do something with both of our girls in nature at night.

Instead of my girls going back in time, Merwyn was invited into 1980's America (where I think she might have a much easier life... X'D). The more humid states in the US, including West Virginia where Flowers takes place, have fireflies (sob/ not where I live)… I think they are just so incredible to see!

Pushkari decided to join them when I sketched this (because three is the magic number, you know...) and it helped me understand more of why she and Ruka are best friends (she thrives off the positive energy from her blonde friend, and both have a great love for the outdoors :3).

All three of them are magical women. Even if my babies didn't have superpowers, they have powerful souls. Merwyn certainly does.

Here they are, all off in their own worlds enjoying the magnificent sights around them.

Merwyn: II. The Castle in the SeaShe was walking with eyes closed tight, humming a song, a song of sorrow about a love lost at sea. It was night, the dead of night. Merwyn was on the castle's wall, on the battlements, and her shoes rested beside her. She only walked on the brink blindly, her arms slightly spread to the sides for balance and to touch the wind, her bare feet on the rough unpolished stone. The waves of the sea were breaking at her feet, a flurrying sound that came and went and came again. And the song she was humming was engulfed by the sound of the sea. Her voice trembled in choked tears from the wild commotion inside.
No one else cried for her, but she did not deserve anyone's tears. She was living but to shame everyone around her. So much sorrow she had brought upon her parents, upon her mother who could barely look at her since her childhood mistake with Eadlin, upon her father who had watched her grow so weak and meaningless when he could have had a son instead. She had been told all that, merciless (<--this one has the excerpt I mentioned above )
