Have you looked at it a bit farther toward the lower area?
.. it resolves into something like the 12 houses of the zodiac, ...in sets of 3 ...the older render is not here on DA anymore ...
It is a most amazing sight ... a Zodiac in the middle of the Mandelbrot!!

I am just hanging in .. have not been here for ages ... but it is refreshing to be back ...
many changes!! ... I am going to try a new product for losing flab (much flab accumulated in the last 4 years!!) ... and if it works as they say (no needle fat jab) ... I will be starting a new life --sort of---
... and we are moving December 7th thru the 10th~!!
... away from the city .. to the far north side of Longmont, and near the entry for Estes Park, and lots of great fishing (not that I ever catch anything) ...
It is in the TECH corridor for Colorado .. so I hope to land a part time tutor for 3D Animation Graphics ..
I seem to have a learning block .. or a 'getting started' block .. even after a quarter at Art Institute, and spending 2K on software and the experience (the teach was awesome, but did not teach what he knew!) ...
Google Translate is far and away better than BING! Really!!
My mind is a nimble item, sometimes it is too nimble! .. but I like it that way, and if it helps for creativity ... all the better

I think part of it, is that my eyes are bad (really rather near sighted) .. and that tends to make me see patterns that others do not see (not on the PC, but in the world at large) .. and that has made a habit in my brain .. of looking for patterns ... or similar .. if that will do for an explanation?
I look across the street at the large blurry bunch of trees .. and most times I see something different, unless I look for something I have seen before .. it is a bit of a game! ... I don't always remember them, but it is fun to do.
All your new fractals seem really mellow and soft and exceedingly lovely .. I wonder if this reflects good days in your world? ... or just new presets?
