Description Made in ArtRage 4 using oil brush and palette knife tools. 8x10", 300ppi. I painted this with a similar method as I did Peter Davison's portrait: all one layer using a wet-on-wet kind of blending.

The only Doctors I have not done are 7th and 10th. It's not that I don't like them, 10th is one of my favorites, but he's been done by absolutely everyone, and I don't feel I have much different to offer. If I think of something, then I'll get round to him

I absolutely love the way you have done the skintones in this - subtle yet with so much detail and showing the form of the face really well. Great work.

Thanks! I really struggled with this one, trying vainly to make an accurate likeness without resorting to a basic trace. It took forever and I am still not satisfied with the placement of the eyes... which is why I resorted to that basic trace for the subsequent McCoy and Troughton portraits. I really need some corrective glasses! O.O
