Build: While Outlaw has a lighter build than our other American Saddlebred stallions, Zaphiro and Zaldi, he is still a shining example of the breed. His medium-length back is fortunate; many Saddlebreds inherit long backs, and Outlaw's moderation in that aspect of his conformation allows him to succeed more easily in disciplines which require frequent collection, like hunt-seat and dressage. His legs are straight and his hooves are flawless, lending both grace and correctness to his motion.
Temperament: This horse has a very regal bearing and a very mobile tail which, if he finds himself displeased with his human, may end up swatting the human somewhere unpleasant. He can be sour at times, and perhaps at more frequent intervals than most horses. This anti-authoritarian trend in his personality is rather uncannily in keeping with his name! When given a job to do, however, Outlaw does it and does it well, so long as he's convinced it's the best use of his time. Agent-Q-Amalgamation told us to try keeping a mare nearby the arena when Outlaw is working... for a little "motivation."
