The nothern light was just amazing yesterday night at Sandnes, Lofoten Islands. Lightpainting on the dark canvas sky is breathtaking and spectacular and I hope that some of you fellowdeviants that doesnt have seen this once will have the ability to visit this beautiful islands and see for yourselves.Edit: Haha, I fixed the borders!

saw a lot of it when i was in the coast guard. The northern lights around lofoten,Finmark, svalbard and bear island is amazing.

Yup, have seen them in my life time, several times as far down to Southern Michigan where they were a rosy red, not the green, but have seen them many times in Northern Michigan and it is truly spectacular, something that brings awe to the soul.
