A really cool thing about lamps is they show off the lampshade's translucency really nicely. Is your cone translucent?

Nice man but the cone material is a little too...simple if you get me, it needs more bumps and scratches and it looks alittle too waxy.

lol yeah. my submission from the speed modelling contest was also submitted to the weekly cone contest by moniqueamber, and mine's winning even though mine came in second in the speed model
