Hooray, angst-tastic stamp!
Because depression is fucking terrible, and my brain just can't get enough of it, six months later.
Yes, I know you mean well, but trying to force-feed me the reasons I'm a decent person or whatever?
It's not going to change the simple fact that I really, truly hold a deep, personal loathing for myself.
If anybody knows me the best, and has a reason to hate me for it... it's not going to be changed by a few people hawking a few superficial things.
(Whoop-de-do, boy oh boy, nothing says "This is going to be a good year" like spending the entire first two months wallowing in obnoxious emo self-pity and self-loathing!)

I know someone just like you, that has this self loathing, the world is a shithole thing going on... but really they are one of the smartest and most interesting people i know... and this is kinda weird i guess but i wouldn't want them to act any other way... if all the sudden they were hippy dippy "i love my self because im special!!" I probably wouldn't be as fond of them, attitude is a big part of ones personality obviously...
So i say.... ON WITH THE SELF LOATHING!!! And if your friends are really awesome they will just be there to respect and love you and not force anything on you. I think everyone has that sort of hate of themselves deep down....

Well, here's one way to think of it- whether you hate yourself or not, whether you really are nice or an ass, or a good friend/person or bad, for some reason multiple people really like you and are probably gonna stick with you.
Like those little stickers you get when you run into the wrong kinda bush on a hike.
