Description
The Salsifructiphytea are a clade of plants in the Caulifructiferiphytea family.
These plants have evolved to thrive in highly saline environments. Their bottom leaves are rigid and sharp and the fruits are enclosed in a glassy orb until they are fully ripe.
They have a salty taste and a jerky smell.
It is moreso flying invertebrates that the plant seeks to attract to help in the dissemination of its spore.
Droplets of water acumulage on the black petals with the morning dew and creatures can hydrate with them. By giving giving fresh water, this plant can protect itself as creatures don't seem to want to destroy, trample, or eat a source of readily available fresh water.
